I'm Back - 9.28.06

I left Viareggio monday morning and thus began my long trip back home. I spent a night and a day in Winterthur at Sili's and then took an overnight train to Amsterdam and then a long plane back to San Francisco via Cincinnati. The whole way back from Italy i was looking for excuses and reasons to extend my trip. I came up with many, some of them legitimate but in the end decided that it would be best to go back, sort out some work stuff, ground myself and start preparing for the next trip.

Back home with Viareggio trophy. Got many an interesting look from, random people, security and customs officials.

Truth be told i'm not that excited to be back. Its cold and grey in SF and very familiar. I miss trying to figure what to say in whatever language of the country that i'm in. I miss the adventures and possibilities of meeting new people. I know i live in one of the worlds greatest cities and i know some absolutely amazing people here, but i still am kind of dazed about being back. I'm already trying to figure out the logistics of my next trip. Knowing that i can work and travel is a huge factor in where i go...so if anyone of you are looking to travel and need a companion, give me a shout...i'll probably join you.
